Objective of the day – May 13, 2017

Yesterday and today was special to me, I kept my activity to low and make a routine about the usage of my online presence. Even today is a weekend, I manage to wake up at 4:00 am and than had a small nap in between. But the biggest achievement of mine today, was the completion of two objectives:

1. I was able to complete the DIY, which I have tried to put it, but couldn’t able to complete due to other important objective at my end. So finished that as well, you will get a new blog about it tomorrow.
2. Cleaning of one guest washroom – We have the luxury of having 2 attached washroom and one additional washroom. Due to some drainage issue, we have stop using it for the past 4 years or so. The drainage was fixed, but the cleaning part has been put on hold for a very long time due to assignment of responsibility towards me or wife.

Wife was sacred of the possibility of cockroaches and lizard which might end up in            it, it’s plain and simple!!!

Finally, I have decided to take this assignment for wife, since wife has put her hands          up in this case. So it’s been a major struggle whenever we sees it, we had a maid,                who also was hesitant to clean it up. Several, major dust storms have hit this                        washroom over a period of time.

I also have one point to prove to all the men reading this, if you own a house and               have a housewife, you should take the responsibility to do the house chores as well           and show that responsibility in it’s full spirit. I know it’s not easy, if you are not                   taught to do from day 1. But it’s always the first step which is difficult, than it’s                     become easy. In case, you are thinking, that who I am. I am a professional                             development banker at a good position, I am fund manager dealing with US$ 1                   billion+ at my disposal, I am recently been handed the Treasury Operation from the           Finance and Reporting Side. So you can get an idea as to who I am. I am not bragging         here to prove my point. But to show, take your ego out of the equation and see a big           picture. Your family values that you will instill in your kids by showing them, that             it’s no harm in doing big or small act is more important than anything else in the               world. Be the example you want to show to others, so that others can have the                     courage to do it.

So I am glad to tell you, that this long outstanding objective was cleared out of my              list. If you see the pictures, you will be surprised to see, how on earth we live in an            apartment with such a toilet. The answer is, we just closed it, not to be used.

So now, it’s a fully functional toilet at our disposal, so we don’t have to take the guest          to rooms at the back of the entrance to have more privacy for us.

Please be soft on your comments, since I know, with the looks of it this should have            been done long long long long long long long long time ago. In this regard, my wife            often jokes with me, don’t remind the husband to do a thing twice after every six                months 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 :D.

P.S: These are empty Zamzam bottle cans, which we put it to use for store normal tap         water for such purposes. So please don’t get sentimental about it.
